Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will develop and execute the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value, differentiated services to operators and drilling contractors.

You will translate complex technical data into compelling commercial value, drive cross-sell opportunities across MWD/LWD, RSS, and related systems, and maintain strong relationships

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation, drilling KPIs, and performance drivers.
• Experience working with operators in Vaca Muerta or other shale basins.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering and procurement stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, translating technical information into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Building and maintaining relationships with operators and drilling contractors.
• Delivering technical presentations and post-well analyses to showcase service value.
• Collaborating with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Supporting tender submissions and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintaining accurate pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
