Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a seasoned Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and lead cross‑functional engagement with operations, engineering, and product lines to deliver value to major operators and drilling contractors.

You will translate technical drilling knowledge into commercial value, negotiate contracts, and identify opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS while

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in shale basins such as Vaca Muerta.
• Experience managing technical sales cycles and influencing engineering/procurement stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Delivering technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborating with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Supporting tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintaining accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
• Ensuring compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
