Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and build strong relationships with operators and drilling contractors to deliver value.

You will present technical insights, coordinate with operations and engineering, and pursue cross-sell opportunities across BHA systems, motors, LWD/MWD, and RSS while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in shale basins, preferably Vaca Muerta.
• Ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication translating technical info into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in Vaca Muerta.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, and negotiations.
• Build relationships with operators and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines for service quality.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions and contract renewals; maintain CRM pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE and company standards.
