Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will own the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and drive growth through strong customer engagement and technical expertise.

You will collaborate across operations, engineering, and product lines to deliver high-quality service, perform post-well analyses, and identify cross-sell opportunities with key operators and drilling contractors in Argentina.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation, drilling KPIs, and performance drivers.
• Experience working with operators in Vaca Muerta or other shale basins.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analysis to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence within CRM systems.
