Baker Hughes seeks a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta region. You will own the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and drive growth through strong customer engagement and technical depth.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver value through presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analyses. This role emphasizes HSE compliance and long-term customer partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience working with operators in shale basins and ability to influence engineering and procurement stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, and Capex, and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence within CRM systems.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
