Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive growth by engaging clients, applying technical expertise, and executing disciplined commercial strategy while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value solutions.

You will manage the complete sales cycle, deliver technical value through presentations, and ensure service quality and client satisfaction, aligning with Baker Hughes standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in shale basins such as Vaca Muerta.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication to translate technical info into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, contracts.
• Build and maintain relationships with operators like YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analysis.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and CRM data.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
