Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join a global SAM team overseeing licensing across Latin America and other regions. The role requires hands-on licensing expertise and the ability to work with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering teams to ensure compliant, optimized software usage.

You will manage the full lifecycle of licensing requests, interpret terms across publishers, maintain records, and support renewals, audits and cost optimization in a high-volume

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or software audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requests, and adapt between publishers.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records with purchasing data.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits, reporting, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering teams and external vendors.
• Handle competing priorities in a high-volume environment while improving SAM processes.
