Political Asylum Lawyers in Houston seeks a role focused on client engagement in English and Spanish, managing daily communications and document requests to support asylum cases. You will follow established workflows, keep clients updated, and collaborate with attorneys and staff to maintain case progression.

The position requires fluency in Spanish and English, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Empathetic and able to communicate with clients under stress.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform with minimal supervision.
• Experience with immigration applications is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the firm’s main point of contact with clients, engaging them daily in English and Spanish.
• Coordinate case logistics: scheduling appointments, preparing sessions, and sending reminders.
• Compile and submit filings to immigration agencies and support attorneys and paralegals.
• Provide status updates to clients and surface questions to attorneys clearly.
• Maintain tracking systems to prevent clients from falling behind and ensure deadlines are met.
