Job summary
AgileEngine is seeking a Software Engineer with Java and MuleSoft to own backend services supporting the Case object ecosystem and to strengthen service logic, data processing, and platform reliability, including Salesforce Service Cloud integrations.
You will troubleshoot production incidents, participate in on-call rotation, monitor health KPIs, and collaborate across teams to keep cases flowing smoothly and transparently.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with Java.
- Experience with MuleSoft.
- Backend software engineering experience.
- Production troubleshooting and incident support experience.
- Production monitoring, alert triage, and service health.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving API/integration failures.
Responsibilities
- Own backend Java services and MuleSoft-based integration for Case workflows.
- Work on internal daemons and MuleSoft capabilities, focusing on the integration layer.
- Support Service Cloud stakeholders and integration issues.
- Diagnose and resolve API/integration failures affecting Salesforce processes.
- Triage alerts and monitor health KPIs for core Java services.
- Document findings in Confluence and maintain sprint data.
- Maintain transparency via tickets, standups, and Slack; ensure on-schedule delivery.
