Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure quality across product releases. You will work remotely with global teams, performing hands-on testing, investigating failures, and collaborating with developers on testability and acceptance criteria.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on manual testing, and experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO for desktop/web and

Qualifications

3+ years in a software quality assurance role.
3+ years of experience in automated testing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsabilités

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
