Job summary

Tether seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation, while performing manual testing for critical user flows. You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers to improve testability across features.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on testing, and experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, and Appium. This role offers remote work from anywhere and engages with cutting-edge fintech projects.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (for example, GitHub Actions).
Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
