Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation and contribute to manual testing. You will work on fast, reliable tests and collaborate with developers to improve testability across our fintech platforms.

The role requires strong automation skills, experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, Electron, and React Native, plus a mindset for AI-assisted QA. This is a remote, international opportunity with global teams.

Formación

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
