Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to lead desktop and mobile test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, and ensure robust quality for our digital finance platform.

You will perform hands-on testing, investigate failures, maintain test data, and collaborate with developers and product teams to define testability and acceptance criteria. Experience with Playwright or WebdriverIO is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software QA experience.
• 3+ years of automated testing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Holistic quality mindset.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic QA skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing.
• Document feature behavior in detail.
• Record pass/fail conditions and link to bugs.
• Identify risks to product or process quality.
• Collaborate with product to ensure quality through SDLC.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimation.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
