Job summary

Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to lead desktop and mobile testing. You will own automated test creation, integrate tests into CI/CD, and collaborate with developers to improve testability.

You’ll perform exploratory and regression testing across Electron/React Native apps, and ensure robust quality for AI‑powered features. Remote work is supported globally with a focus on international collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and hands‑on manual/exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions).
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands‑on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
