Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing, building robust automation and contributing to manual testing where needed. You will ensure high-quality releases across desktop and mobile apps and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), work with developers and product on testability, and apply AI-assisted QA approaches to optimize coverage and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
