Tether seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. You will build, maintain, and run tests across CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable quality gates.

Strong collaboration with developers and product teams is essential, including evaluating testability and acceptance criteria. Responsibilities include hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing, plus using AI tools to improve QA outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation.
• Hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience with CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Playwright (desktop/web) and WebdriverIO + Appium (mobile).
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
