Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician (DCT) Recruitment Specialist for the Asia-Pacific region, covering India, Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Oceania. You will build and maintain a world-class pool of skilled DCTs to ensure reliable, fast datacenter operations across facilities.

You won't be a generic recruiter; you will deeply understand what makes a great datacenter technician, from rack and cabling to safety protocols and access control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in recruiting or talent acquisition, incl. DCT pool management.
• Ability to conduct technical interviews and assess hands-on DC skills.
• Knowledge of DC infrastructure: structured cabling, server racking, cross-connects, PDUs.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Organized and detail-oriented for regional DCT database management.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets, databases, or ATS tools.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit Data Center Technicians in APAC.
• Conduct technical screening interviews assessing hands-on DC skills.
• Build and maintain a vetted DCT pool by location and availability.
• Verify credentials: certifications, references, work history.
• Create DCT skill assessments and evaluation criteria.
• Coordinate onboarding: facility access, safety SOPs.
• Track performance and provide feedback to operations.
• Expand DCT coverage to new markets and facilities.
• Manage relationships with DCT staffing agencies.
• Maintain the DCT database with up-to-date data.
