Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician Recruitment Specialist for the Asia-Pacific region, covering India, Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Oceania. You will build and maintain a world-class DCT pool by deeply understanding the required hands-on skills and matching candidates to rigorous criteria.

You must have prior experience as a DCT or in managing DCTs, with knowledge of structured cabling, cross-connects, and hardware lifecycle. This is a remote-first role with global reach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or team staffing experience.
• Ability to conduct technical interviews and assess hands-on datacenter skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Organized and detail-oriented; managing a regional DCT DB requires precision.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets, databases, or ATS tools to track candidates.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit Data Center Technicians across APAC facilities.
• Conduct technical screening interviews—assess hands-on DC skills.
• Build and maintain a vetted DCT pool organized by location, skill level, availability, and reliability score.
• Verify technician credentials: certifications, references, and work history.
• Create and maintain DCT skill assessments and practical evaluation criteria.
• Coordinate onboarding of new DCTs: facility access, safety protocols, SOP training.
• Track DCT performance after deployment—build a feedback loop with operations.
