Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician (DCT) Recruitment Specialist for the Asia-Pacific region, covering India, Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Oceania. You will build a world-class DCT pool by region, assessing hands-on skills and coordinating onboarding across facilities.

You will screen candidates, verify credentials, and maintain assessments, ensuring quality and readiness for 24/7 datacenter operations in a remote-first organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or team staffing experience (DCT pool counts).
• Ability to conduct technical interviews and assess hands-on datacenter skills.
• Knowledge of DC infrastructure: structured cabling, server racking, cross-connects, PDUs, environmental monitoring.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Organized and detail-oriented; managing a regional DCT database requires precision.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets, databases, or ATS tools to track candidates.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit Data Center Technicians across APAC facilities.
• Conduct technical screening interviews focused on hands-on DC skills.
• Build and maintain a vetted DCT pool by location, skill, availability, reliability.
• Verify technician credentials: certifications, references, and work history.
• Create and maintain DCT skill assessments and evaluation criteria.
• Coordinate onboarding: facility access, safety protocols, SOP training.
• Track DCT performance after deployment with operations.
• Expand DCT coverage to new markets and facilities in the region.
• Manage relationships with DCT staffing agencies.
• Maintain DCT database with availability, skills, performance ratings.
