Job summary
A leading consultancy firm in the UAE is seeking a Demand Planning Executive to manage accurate demand forecasting, inventory management, and purchase orders across GCC markets. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency in ERP systems. Responsibilities include analyzing sales data, monitoring stock levels, and implementing effective supply chain processes. This role offers opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to assess and optimize supply chain processes.
- High attention to detail in purchase orders and inventory records.
- Negotiation skills to coordinate effectively with suppliers.
- Proactive problem-solving skills for logistical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze sales and market data for demand forecasts.
- Monitor stock levels for availability and optimal rotation.
- Prepare Purchase Requisitions and Orders based on demand.
- Implement stock control measures to minimize product wastage.
- Prepare reports on stock status and inventory turnover.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure process compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
