A leading hospitality company in Dubai is seeking a Commis Chef to assist kitchen operations by preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality dishes while adhering to stringent hygiene and food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a culinary diploma and hands-on experience in various cooking techniques. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Culinary diploma or certificate (or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience in basic cooking techniques and specialty areas.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of a wide variety of dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work stations.
- Collaborate with senior chefs and kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
Education

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of a wide variety of dishes, including Asian, pizza, sushi, and dessert items.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work stations.
- Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines.
- Support inventory management and stock control.
- Collaborate with senior chefs and kitchen staff in a fast‑paced environment.
- Culinary diploma or certificate (or equivalent)
- Hands‑on experience in basic cooking techniques and any specialty area such as Chinese cooking, pizza, sushi, or bakery.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a fast‑paced kitchen.
