Job summary
A healthcare consultancy in Abu Dhabi is seeking a hands-on Chief Accountant to lead end-to-end accounting operations. The successful candidate will have strong experience in healthcare finance, covering full accounting cycles, financial controls, and reporting. Responsibilities include managing cash flow, leading an accounting team, and implementing internal controls. Candidates with professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA) are preferred. - Implement and maintain internal controls and audit readiness.
- Manage cash flow, cost controls, and healthcare-specific financial processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Support ERP/finance system optimization and improve processes.

We are seeking a hands-on Chief Accountant with strong experience in healthcare to lead end-to-end accounting operations. The role requires expertise in financial controls, reporting, compliance, and audit readiness within high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Lead full accounting cycle: GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and month-end close
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and revenue recognition
- Implement and maintain internal controls and audit readiness
- Manage cash flow, cost controls, and healthcare-specific financial processes
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Support ERP/finance system optimization and process improvements
- Proven experience in healthcare or hospital accounting/finance
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance, and reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Professional accounting qualification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
