Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Payroll Accountant to manage accurate and timely payroll processing and employee benefits administration. The role ensures full compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, and internal policies while maintaining precise payroll records and supporting HR and Finance teams in payroll accounting and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of payroll systems, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all salaries, incentives, and deductions comply with internal policies and statutory requirements.
  • Administer employee benefits including health insurance, leave balances, bonuses, and retirement contributions.
  • Coordinate with HR for the accurate processing of new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts, prepare journal entries, and support payroll accounting activities.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports, ensuring accuracy for audits and management reviews.
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential payroll and employee compensation records.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, payroll tax regulations, and statutory contributions.
  • Respond to employee payroll and benefits inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to payroll processes, automation, and reporting systems.
