A prominent technical services firm in Dubai is seeking skilled HVAC technicians to handle installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. Candidates should possess expertise in reading blueprints and knowledge of electrical components. The role involves ensuring system efficiency through testing and balancing, as well as maintaining accurate records of service calls and tasks. Strict adherence to safety policies is essential.
Installation: Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, refrigerant lines, thermostats, condensers, and furnace units, according to specifications and building codes.
Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on existing systems, including cleaning coils, checking fluid levels, inspecting electrical components, lubricating moving parts, and replacing filters.
Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning HVAC/R systems, components (e.g., compressors, motors, valves, pumps), and electrical circuits. Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to identify root causes of failures.
System Testing: Test and balance HVAC systems to ensure proper airflow, temperature control, and system efficiency.
Record Keeping: Accurately document all service calls, maintenance tasks, repairs performed, and parts used using company software or forms.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the safe handling and recovery of refrigerants, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic components of HVAC systems.
