Legal Consultant – Offshore Oil & Gas Projects

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12-month renewable contract

Salary: Negotiable

Overview:

We are seeking a Legal Consultant with a strong background in offshore oil and gas project environments, ideally with experience supporting Aramco or similar clients. The successful candidate will provide legal guidance and contract management throughout various project phases, ensuring compliance with local regulations and best industry practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on all legal aspects of the offshore oil and gas project lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

• Analyse project data to identify legal risks and support decision-making.

• Ensure all legal documentation is technically accurate and aligns with current laws.

• Conduct legal research to provide practical, business-oriented advice.

• Manage legal filings and support the resolution of disputes when required.

• Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth legal operations across project stages.

• Support in preparing proposals, identifying legal risks, and recommending solutions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited institution (Master’s or PhD ).

• Strong understanding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s legal system and regulatory framework.

• Proven experience in contract law, corporate legal advisory, and offshore project legal management.

• Experience with subcontracting practices in offshore oil & gas – especially Aramco projects – is highly .

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal in a clear, practical manner.

• High attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

• Sound judgment, diplomacy, and tact when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

• Candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia are for ease of visa processing.
