Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team is, in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers. We collaborate with our partners to define opportunities and develop growth plans resulting in delivering a great customer experience and expanded adoption of the Apple ecosystem.
Key Qualifications & Description:
- Grow the business with channel partners who distribute and resell Apple products in our markets in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Somalia, and Sudan, driving towards sales targets.
- Establish and lead close working relationships with senior collaborators of distributors, retail partners, & telco operators to develop their sales efficiency and maximize the sales of Apple products to end-users.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of market trends and retail channels, developing comprehensive account plans that align with our partners’ strategies and expand Apple's footprint.
- Understand the market and stores deeply, spending time in stores and sharing insights with management.
- Act as a professional business personnel to develop and manage reliable forecasts, ensuring disciplined use of Apple sales forecasting tools and processes.
- Plan and agree with Channel Partners on quarterly sales, marketing, and in-store activities, as well as quarterly/weekly sell-in and sell-through targets, and hold regular performance and planning reviews.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams on forecasts and influence product supply to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Analyze opportunities in relevant channels and develop strategies to address issues of coverage or quality execution.
- Implement marketing programs online & offline as prescribed by Apple.
- Collaborate with the Apple training team to ensure sales staff are of the highest standard and quality.
