We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Middle East R&D team in Dubai, UAE.

This position will be responsible for supporting the development of mechanical components and assemblies, from 2D/3D design to material selection and BPOM creation, while integrating quality, functional, and aesthetic requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Design and draw the necessary mechanical parts, including all the dimensions, 2D and 3D models of parts and sub-assemblies
• Bring in best in class, emerging concepts and method to mechanical design engineering
• Understand Critical to Quality requirements through the design lifecycle, and their impact on mechancial concept and manufacturability
• Define the choice of materials with the project and supplier teams
• Define the BOM of the finished product and mechanical parts and record them on the R&D systems (ENOVIA, SAP)
• Work closely with product architect in the context of new developments, to understand the requirements and integrating the aesthetic, normative and functional constraints provided
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Proficient Mechanical design for Metal Part and plastic injection molding
• Aspiration to develop and progress career in product design focusing on human centered and industrial design
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent at communication skills - verbal, written and presentation
