Country Manager – Dubai (Mandarin Speaker | Open to Relocation)

I’m working with a leading multi-asset trading platform to hire a Country Manager to lead their Dubai operations. This is a high-impact leadership role offering relocation support, and fluency in Mandarin is a requirement. The firm is open to considering candidates with similar sales leadership experience in international markets.

The successful hire will be responsible for scaling the business, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving overall performance in a fast-paced and competitive trading environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Market Expansion : Shape and execute the regional growth strategy, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and local market dynamics.
2. Revenue Growth & Partnerships : Build and manage key relationships with affiliates, institutional partners, and local stakeholders to drive business development and revenue.
3. P&L Management : Own the country’s Profit & Loss performance, focusing on sustainable growth and profitability.
4. Regulatory Engagement : Act as the company’s main liaison with financial regulators. Ensure all operations meet legal, licensing, and compliance standards in Dubai.
5. Team Building & Leadership : Recruit, lead, and inspire a cross-functional local team across sales, marketing, compliance, and customer support. Foster a culture of accountability and performance.
6. Client Strategy : Drive customer acquisition, oversee onboarding, and ensure a premium client experience through tailored marketing and service initiatives.
7. Brand Visibility : Represent the company at industry events, with media, and among local business communities to strengthen brand presence.
8. Localized Product Fit : Partner with global product and engineering teams to adapt offerings to meet regional user needs and regulatory considerations.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

1. Demonstrated leadership experience in crypto, CFD trading, or online brokerage industries.
2. Native or fluent Mandarin speaker.
3. Track record of working with or navigating licensing processes with local financial authorities.
4. Strong commercial acumen, with experience owning P&L and growing teams in new or competitive markets.
5. Director level experience.
