A UAE-based shipping company in Dubai is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 23 years of finance experience in the UAE. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing closing processes, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Qualifications
- 23 years of finance experience in UAE.
- Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards and international regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with UAE accounting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations including VAT and corporate tax.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors for accurate reporting.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Education
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with UAE accounting standards and international regulations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations and reporting.
