Regional Sales Operations Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for ABB Measurement & Analytics in UAE & cluster countries, focusing on field instrumentation products and instrumentation service sales. The role requires expertise in ABB's range of field instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement devices. You will ensure customer satisfaction through efficient service execution and contribute to service business growth. Responsibilities include commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, service contracts, telephonic support, and coordination of expert service teams. Additionally, you'll generate service sales opportunities by actively engaging with customers and be prepared to travel regionally and globally if needed.
This role contributes to the Process Automation Business Area for the Measurement & Analytics Division based in Dubai, UAE. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Performing after-sales site execution to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for ABB's field instrumentation products.
- Executing commissioning, calibration, and routine maintenance of field instrumentation solutions.
- Engaging in service sales by identifying customer needs and recommending ABB service offerings.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Owning and delivering KPIs related to service execution and customer satisfaction.
- Participating in customer FAT, Pre-FAT, SAT, and other site activities.
- Maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying new service opportunities.
- Coordinating support with factories and subcontractors.
- Supporting the sales team in developing service proposals and contracts.
- Providing training to customers and channel partners.
- Managing documentation, reporting, and billing related to service activities.
- Adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
- Improving processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Handling customer site visits independently for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Planning and scheduling activities for efficient service delivery.
- Providing remote and onsite technical support.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings.
- Promoting ABB's service solutions, including digital and remote services.
- Supporting regional and global service teams as needed.
- Maintaining detailed records for service activities and billing.
- Contributing to the growth of ABB's service business through opportunity identification and upselling.
Qualifications
- Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in field instrumentation service.
- Strong knowledge of ABB's Field Instrumentation products.
- Experience in service sales and business development.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in multinational teams.
- Familiarity with digitalization and remote services is advantageous.
