Job summary
A leading company in the EV charging sector is looking for a Sales Manager Engineer in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of EV charging systems and extensive experience in technical sales. Responsibilities include driving business development efforts, developing sales strategies, and delivering technical presentations to clients. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering, at least 5 years of experience in technical sales, and proficiency in both Arabic and English.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in EV charging or renewable energy.
- 2 years of UAE experience required.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC EV chargers and electrical installations.

We are seeking a Sales Manager Engineer to lead our sales efforts in the supply and installation business. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of EV charging systems with commercial acumen to drive growth, build client relationships and close high-value projects.

- Business Development & Sales
- Identify, pursue and secure new opportunities in residential, commercial and public EV charging projects.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations and tenders for supply & installation projects.
- Understand client technical requirements and align solutions accordingly.
- Liaise with engineering and operations teams to ensure feasibility, cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, corporates and private clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact during sales and project negotiation stages.
- Manage contracts, pricing discussions and revenue models with clients.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments in EV infrastructure.
- Provide insights to management to shape the company market positioning.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in EV charging, renewable energy or electrical systems.
- 2 years of UAE experience (minimum).
- Strong knowledge of EV chargers (AC/DC), electrical installations and related standards.
- Proven track record in business development, tendering and project sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- UAE market experience required; Arabic language required.
