Role:
AtkinsRéalis Business is hiring an experienced Information Manager for our Middle East Site Ops delivery team. This person will carry out functions spanning from internal process improvements to managing construction project delivery supervision. The successful candidate should focus on people, processes, and technology, ensuring project delivery teams adhere to standards and industry methodologies. The candidate will also support project teams on proposals, bids, and project delivery.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in architecture or engineering with 8+ years’ experience in the AEC industry, preferably with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Middle East, with a consultancy, PMC, or contractor.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in digital delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects (Information Management).
- Information Management certification from a relevant institution e.g., BRE, Operam Academy, RICS.
- Software certifications such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil3D, ArcGIS, Synchro, Fuzor are desirable.
- Good knowledge of LOD 300-500 industry standards.
- Contractor’s experience is advantageous, with an understanding of digital delivery from design to handover.
- Experience working with stakeholders like contractors, consultants, PMCs, vendors, and clients.
- Understanding of data and information management, including ISO 19650 standards.
- Knowledge of engineering design and multidisciplinary coordination and quality compliance.
- Proficiency with authoring tools from Autodesk, Bentley, Rhino, Trimble.
- Knowledge of model federation and coordination platforms like Navisworks, BIM Track, Revizto.
- Experience with CDE platforms such as ACC, BIM360, ASITE, or ProjectWise.
- Knowledge of data visualization/analytics platforms like PowerBI.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo is desirable.
- Understanding of uses like construction sequencing (4D), quantity take-offs (5D), VR/AR.
- Understanding of construction quality processes.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in developing IM documents like BEP, federation strategy, Level of Information Need, responsibility matrix.
- Understanding of MIDP / TIDP.
- Understanding of engineering principles and spatial coordination.
Job Duties:
- Ensure digital content is created, stored, and published using current best practices.
- Implement and follow internal and external capability and capacity processes.
- Facilitate use of the CDE by project teams.
- Supervise clash detection and resolution activities.
- Perform effective information management throughout the project lifecycle, in line with ISO 19650 and industry standards.
- Understand construction processes thoroughly.
- Support global and regional digital initiatives.
- Maintain ISO 19650 certification annually.
- Support the Digital Lead per the RACI matrix.
- Advise on technology supporting Site Ops (drones, robots, satellite imagery).
- Provide guidance on point-cloud data for as-built models.
- Manage QA/QC of LOD 400-500 models.
- Oversee development of uses like 4D, 5D, VR/AR.
- Support COBie, Uniclass, and Masterclass implementation.
- Supervise strategic planning for asset information models with O&M data.
