Job Summary
The Technical Manager leads the technical operations, engineering, solution design, deployment and support of wireless broadband and two-way radio communication systems. This is a dual pre-sales and post-sales role: you will shape and demonstrate winning solutions alongside the sales team, then stay engaged through delivery — leading troubleshooting, software installation and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). The position is central to successful project delivery, sustained customer satisfaction and the continued growth of the business through innovative solutions and deep technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead bid management and prepare compelling responses to RFPs and tenders.
- Own and manage technical solutions across the full project lifecycle.
- Design and review wireless broadband and microwave transmission solutions.
- Design and review two-way radio communication systems.
- Conduct site surveys, RF coverage analysis and network planning.
- Prepare technical proposals, system architecture and engineering documentation.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Drive pre-sales activities including demonstrations, proof-of-concepts and technical consultations.
- Create solutions and demonstrate them convincingly to customers.
- Conduct technical presentations, and host and deliver customer training programs.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, partners and manufacturers.
- Oversee installation, software installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
- Provide advanced, hands-on technical support for complex customer issues.
- Plan, conduct and host Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with customers.
- Ensure smooth handover from delivery into ongoing service and support.

- Maintain quality-control processes and complete project documentation.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in wireless communications and two-way radio systems.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a pre-sales role.
Strong knowledge of:
- DMR, TETRA, P25, LTE and RF technologies
- IP networking and communication systems
- RF propagation and coverage planning
- Dispatch and control-room solutions
- Surveillance and public-safety solutions
- Experience with major vendors such as Motorola Solutions, Hytera, Kenwood, Icom, Sepura or similar.
Preferred Certifications
- Motorola Solutions technical certifications
- Hytera technical certifications
- RF and wireless communication certifications
