Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies MEA seeks an Account Manager in the UAE, based in Abu Dhabi, to lead sales and account management for specialty chemicals in water and process treatment. You will be the primary contact at customer sites, translate needs into value propositions, and drive growth while ensuring safety and environmental practices.

You will apply your engineering background and 6+ years of technical sales experience, travel within the territory, and collaborate across functions to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical) or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in technical sales in Water and Process Treatment.
• Working knowledge of HPI and/or CPI Process industry.
• Willingness and ability to travel within territory.
• Willingness to reside in assigned region.
• Work in heavy industrial environments with PPE and exposure to chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Be primary contact at assigned customer sites, selling specialty chemicals for water and process treatment and retaining accounts.
• Listen to customers’ needs and provide effective technical service to resolve issues.
• Drive growth by creating and selling customer value propositions using our broad product portfolio.
• Act as consultant to address water and process treatment needs while adhering to safety and environmental practices.
• Collaborate with team and support functions to ensure effective customer support.
• Serve as a knowledge resource using Veolia technology to solve water treatment needs.
• Partner cross-functionally to optimize solution offerings.
• Develop plans to meet sales targets for revenue, retention, and profitability.
