Job summary

Air Q, a UAE-based aerospace company, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Officer to oversee daily warehouse operations. You will ensure accurate receipt, storage, tracking and issue of materials while leading a team and maintaining reliable inventory records.

You will coordinate with Production, AIT, Procurement and Planning, monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts and ensure safety and ERP documentation, aiming for efficient, compliant workflows across the site.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Experience supervising warehouse staff and coordinating daily activities.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or technical environments preferred.
• Hands-on with ERP/warehouse management systems; Odoo is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, stocktaking, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, inspection coordination, put-away, storage, picking, issuing, dispatch and returns.
• Organise and supervise the warehouse team, assign daily priorities and monitor task completion.
• Ensure stock movements are recorded in the ERP system accurately and promptly.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure materials are identified, stored and traceable.
• Plan and conduct cycle counts and physical stocktakes; investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, AIT, Procurement and Planning to support material availability.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess, damaged, obsolete and slow-moving inventory.
• Ensure warehouse documentation is complete and accurate (GRNs, delivery records, issue notes, transfers).
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and service to internal departments.
• Train and guide warehouse employees on procedures, ERP transactions and housekeeping standards.

As our operations continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Officer to help ensure that materials, components and equipment are available, accurately controlled and handled safely across our operations.

The role

The Warehouse Officer will oversee the day-to-day warehouse operation and take responsibility for the accurate receipt, storage, tracking and issue of materials. The role requires someone with strong warehouse management experience who can lead and organise a team, maintain reliable inventory records and coordinate effectively with internal departments.

The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT), Procurement, Planning, Quality and Finance to support operational requirements and maintain effective inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inspection coordination, put-away, storage, picking, issuing, dispatch and returns.
• Organise and supervise the warehouse team, assign daily priorities and monitor the completion of tasks.
• Ensure that all stock movements are accurately and promptly recorded in the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are properly identified, stored and traceable.
• Plan and conduct cycle counts and physical stocktakes, investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, AIT, Procurement and Planning to support material availability and production requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess, damaged, obsolete and slow-moving inventory.
• Ensure that materials, components, tools, consumables and finished goods are stored under appropriate conditions.
• Maintain warehouse security, housekeeping and safe working practices in line with company procedures and applicable HSE requirements.
• Ensure warehouse documentation, including goods received notes, delivery records, issue notes and transfer records, is complete and accurate.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, inventory accuracy and service to internal departments.
• Train and guide warehouse employees on warehouse procedures, ERP transactions, material handling and housekeeping standards.
• Prepare regular updates on stock accuracy, material availability, discrepancies and warehouse operational issues.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections and inter-site transfers with internal teams and external service providers.

Qualifications And Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant warehouse experience, with a proven track record of independently managing warehouse operations, inventory control and team coordination.
• Demonstrated experience supervising warehouse staff and coordinating daily warehouse activities.
• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, aviation or other technical environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP or warehouse management system. Odoo experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, stocktaking, material traceability and warehouse documentation.
• A degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
