Client of Brunel seeks a seasoned Materials & Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, ensuring safe handling, accurate inventory, and regulatory compliance.
The role requires 10 years in materials management, 5 years in supervision, and strong data analysis skills. You will coordinate with JAOSB and manage logistics providers in a multinational environment.
Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving storage transportation issuance inventory audits and material recovery Drive continuous improvement initiatives supervise warehouse personnel and ensure effective support to onshore operations while promoting strong employee relations and compliance with warehouse policies and procedures Ensure that all received goods comply with quality control documentation and traceability standards meeting the requirements outlined in the Purchase Order PO Generate reports for any non-conformities and discrepancies identified during the material receiving Work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve these discrepancies promptly Provide guidance and support regarding the handling packing protection and storage conditions for all goods stored in warehouse Promote and facilitate the use of repaired returned or surplus items ensuring their visibility in the inventory planning process Coordinate the Material Master creation with Jebel Ali Operations Support Base JAOSB Catalogue Team Ensure the accuracy and integrity of physical stock records by conducting regular cyclical counts and inspections against financial records Ensure close communication with and support the JAOSB as needed to leverage synergies sharing improvements and ideas to enhance the warehouse further Supervise third-party logistics providers transport contractors and warehouse service personnel Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions within the Oracle system Monitor stock levels reorder points and inventory optimization of critical Ensure all warehouse activities comply with Health Safety and Environment amp Operational Integrity HSEOI standards and company safety procedures.
Skills Strong knowledge of production and maintenance materials for onshore and offshore oil amp gas operations Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems Oracle preferred Strong English communication analytical and decision-making skills Proven supervisory and team-building capabilities in multicultural environments Collaborative team player with a results-oriented approach
Secondary School Certificate (12 years of education). Additional 3 years of technical or administrative training.
10 years of experience in materials management, including warehousing, inventory control, and procurement. 5 years in a supervisory role with performance management responsibilities. Knowledge of oil and gas industry materials. Experience in report preparation, data analysis, and statistical reporting.
