Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join the Food & Beverage - Episodes team. You will ensure guests are served to the hotel’s high standards, support the captain with menus and orders, and maintain impeccable guest relations within a luxury environment.

The role emphasizes hospitality excellence, professional appearance, and active participation in training and meetings to uphold Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental’s renowned service culture.

Qualifications

• Certification or Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel is preferred; resort experience will be a plus.
• Passionate about guest service with an engaging personality.

Responsibilities

• Set up stations and tables according to set standards.
• Greet the guest according to Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Communicate with the guest to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Assist the captain in presenting the menu, making recommendations, and taking orders.
• Serve food and beverage items and ensure prompt service.
• Follow up on billing and checking procedures.
• Assist in clearing tables and stations and coordinate return of dirty linen.
• Maintain presence in the restaurant during service hours and keep the captain informed of guest comments.

About the job

Based at the Emirates palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Food & Beverage Department, the Waiter/Waitress is responsible for ensuring that guests are served food and beverage according to the standards of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental. The Waiter/Waitress reports to the Assistant Restaurant Manager.

As Waiter/Waitress, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:

• Set up stations and tables according to set standards
• Greet the guest according to the standards set by Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental
• Communicate with the guest according to the standards set by Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental
• Assist the captain in presenting the menu, making recommendations, and taking orders
• Serving food and beverage items and ensuring prompt service
• Follow up on billing and checking procedures
• Assist in the clearing of tables and stations
• Coordinate and supervise the return of dirty linen
• To be present in the restaurant during service hours
• Ensure that the captain is kept informed of all guest comments and complaints
• Attend communication meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required by the restaurant manager, training manager, and food and beverage manager
• To keep uniform neat and clean and ensure good personal grooming and hygiene in accordance with the standards of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental

As Waiter/Waitress, weexpectfrom you:

• Certification or Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred
