Job summary

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi seeks a Waiter/Waitress to join our Food & Beverage team, delivering exceptional luxury dining experiences. You will be responsible for serving guests according to our standards and supporting the service team with attentiveness and precision.

Based in a premium hotel environment, you will greet guests, take orders, present menus, and work with colleagues to maintain flawless service during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Certification or Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel is preferred.

About The Job

Based at the Emirates palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Food & Beverage Department, the Waiter/Waitress is responsible for ensuring that guests are served food and beverage according to the standards of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental. The Waiter/Waitress reports to the Assistant Restaurant Manager.

As Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Set up stations and tables according to set standards
• Greet the guest according to the standards set by Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental
• Communicate with the guest according to the standards set by Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental
• Assist the captain in presenting the menu, making recommendations, and taking orders
• Serving food and beverage items and ensuring prompt service
• Follow up on billing and checking procedures
• Assist in the clearing of tables and stations
• Coordinate and supervise the return of dirty linen
• To be present in the restaurant during service hours
• Ensure that the captain is kept informed of all guest comments and complaints
• Attend communication meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required by the restaurant manager, training manager, and food and beverage manager
• To keep uniform neat and clean and ensure good personal grooming and hygiene in accordance with the standards of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental

As Waiter/Waitress, We Expect From You

• Certification or Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel is preferred, resort experience will be a plus
• Passionate about guest service with an engaging personality
