Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a hospitality professional to manage service at a station, ensuring accurate order input and delivering a superior guest experience.

Candidates should have 2+ years in luxury dining, strong English skills, and knowledge of cocktails and F&B applications. The role involves long shifts in a luxury hotel/club setting at our Dubai DIFC location.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in luxury hospitality or fine dining at a similar role.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Desirable knowledge of cocktails.
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage applications.

Responsibilities

• Run a service station during allocated shifts, input orders correctly in POS.
• Promote sales and build strong relationships with members and guests for a memorable experience.
• Coordinate with the kitchen on orders, stock levels and special requests.
• Upsell cocktails, wine, sake and other beverages with Bar and Sommelier teams.
• Handle minor complaints professionally and courteously.

What Will You Do

Your Main Duties And Responsibilities Are

• Run a station during allocated schedule, including taking the orders, looking after the service for food and beverage, and making sure that the items served are correctly inputted in the point of sale
• Promote sales and build up good relationship with members and guests, and ensure a positive and lasting guest experience by obtaining direct feedback
• Liaise with the kitchen on order taking, stock levels and any special requests
• Ensure up-selling opportunities for cocktails, wine, sake and other beverages in liaison with Bar and Sommelier teams
• Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Ensure that all crockery, cutlery and any other objects and equipment needed for service are prepared and available
• Be efficient in keeping food and beverage wastage to a minimum
• Ensure that the Lounge area is clean and presentable throughout the opening times
• Monitor the daily checklist and ensure all opening and closing duties are completed

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken
• Desirable knowledge of cocktails
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage applications
• Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
• Excellent team management, communication and listening skills
• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time
