Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a customer-focused hospitality professional to join our team in Dubai. You will run service stations, take orders, and input items into the POS, while promoting sales and ensuring a superb guest experience for members and guests.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years at luxury hotels or fine dining, strong English, cocktails knowledge, and excellent organisational and communication skills. The role requires flexibility and the ability to stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant.
• Excellent level of English written and spoken.
• Desirable knowledge of cocktails.
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage applications.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
• Excellent team management, communication and listening skills.
• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time.

Responsibilities

• Run a station during allocated schedule including taking the orders, looking after the service for food and beverage and inputting items in the POS.
• Promote sales and build up good relationship with members and guests and ensure a positive guest experience by obtaining direct feedback.
• Liaise with the kitchen on order taking, stock levels and any special requests.
• Ensure up-selling opportunities for cocktails, wine, sake and other beverages in liaison with Bar and Sommelier teams.
• Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure crockery, cutlery and equipment are prepared and available for service.
• Be efficient in keeping food and beverage wastage to a minimum.
• Ensure that the Lounge area is clean and presentable during opening times.
• Monitor the daily checklist and complete opening and closing duties.

What Will You Do
