Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking an experienced service professional to run a station during allocated shifts, take orders, and ensure smooth service in a luxury setting.

You will promote sales, build strong relationships with members and guests, coordinate with the kitchen, and uphold exceptional guest experiences by managing orders and ensuring efficient service across lounge and dining areas. Excellent English and flexibility are essential for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant.
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken
• Desirable knowledge of cocktails
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage applications
• Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
• Excellent team management, communication and listening skills
• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time

Responsibilities

• Run a station during allocated schedule, including taking the orders, looking after the service for food and beverage, and making sure that the items served are correctly inputted in the point of sale
• Promote sales and build up good relationship with members and guests, and ensure a positive and lasting guest experience by obtaining direct feedback
• Liaise with the kitchen on order taking, stock levels and any special requests
• Ensure up-selling opportunities for cocktails, wine, sake and other beverages in liaison with Bar and Sommelier teams
• Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Ensure that all crockery, cutlery and any other objects and equipment needed for service are prepared and available
• Be efficient in keeping food and beverage wastage to a minimum
• Ensure that the Lounge area is clean and presentable throughout the opening times
• Monitor the daily checklist and ensure all opening and closing duties are completed

What Will You Do
