Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai in DIFC seeks a Head Bartender to supervise day-to-day operations of the Bar(s) and deliver impeccable service to members and guests. You will train the team, maintain brand standards, and manage financial and statutory requirements while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

With a minimum of two years in a similar role in luxury venues and a recognized professional certification, you will lead by example, manage long shifts, and drive beverage quality and profitability

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants.
• Internationally recognised professional certification.
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with high flexibility.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Demonstrate integrity and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods.
• Impeccable manners and immaculate personal presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver beverages to members and guests following SOPs.
• Participate in creating new cocktails and assist with the Bar menu.
• Ensure smooth, consistent service and maintain standards during service periods.

• Ensure Bar equipment and supplies are prepared and available.
• Minimise beverage wastage and secure stock under your responsibility.
• Monitor daily checklist and complete opening/closing duties.

Head Bartender, in close collaboration with the Bars Manager and Assistant Bars Manager, is responsible for supervising and managing day-to-day operations of the assigned Bar/s ensuring smooth flow, maintenance and set up of the Bar/s in line with the set standards. He/She will provide a highly efficient, immaculate and professional service to the members and their guests and support and train the team in delivering outstanding guest experience, whilst ensuring that all financial and statutory requirements are met and the brand image is maintained. In addition, Head Bartender will be responsible for creating and maintaining a harmonious work environment for the entrusted team ensuring their growth and development.

What Will You Do

Your main duties and responsibilities are:

• Prepare and deliver beverages to members and guests following the department Standard Operating Procedures
• Participate in creating new cocktails and assist with developing drink list for the Bar menu
• Ensure the efficient, consistent flow of service and standards are constantly met during service periods
• Handle complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Ensure that all the Bar equipment and any other objects needed for service are prepared and available
• Be efficient in keeping beverage wastage to a minimum and ensuring stock under your responsibility is secure
• Monitor the daily checklist and ensure all opening and closing duties are completed
• Support sales and ensure relevant/appropriate suggestions are made with regards to cocktails

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants
