Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai, located in DIFC, seeks a Barback to support the bar team and elevate guest experiences in a luxury setting. You will assist senior staff, deliver beverages, and help maintain high standards of service and presentation.

Successful candidates bring at least 2 years in luxury hospitality, strong English, and flexibility to work long shifts. This role offers competitive remuneration within a renowned international venue in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in luxury hotels or fine dining.
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver beverages to members and guests following SOPs.
• Participate in creating new cocktails and assist with developing drink list for the Bar menu.
• Ensure the efficient, consistent flow of service and standards during service periods.
• Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure that all the Bar equipment and items needed for service are prepared and available.
• Be efficient in keeping beverage wastage to a minimum and ensuring stock under your responsibility is secure.
• Monitor the daily checklist and ensure opening and closing duties are completed.

What Will You Do

Your main duties and responsibilities are:

• Prepare and deliver beverages to members and guests following the department Standard Operating Procedures
• Participate in creating new cocktails and assist with developing drink list for the Bar menu
• Ensure the efficient, consistent flow of service and standards are constantly met during service periods
• Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Ensure that all the Bar equipment and any other objects needed for service are prepared and available
• Be efficient in keeping beverage wastage to a minimum and ensuring stock under your responsibility is secure
• Monitor the daily checklist and ensure all opening and closing duties are completed

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants
• Internationally recognized professional certificationi>
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken
• Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods of time
