Job summary

Park Hyatt Dubai is seeking a professional Waiter/Waitress - In-Room Dining to deliver exquisite food and beverage service within guest rooms, suites, and villas. You will uphold luxury standards, ensure accurate orders, and maintain discretion in guest interactions.

Responsibilities include setup of in-room dining experiences, knowledge of menu and beverages, collaboration with kitchen and front office, and promoting dining offerings to enhance guest satisfaction and hotel revenue.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Hospitality/Hotel Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in In-Room Dining or luxury restaurant service.
• Strong knowledge of dining etiquette and guest service principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely, courteous manner.
• Review guest orders for accuracy, presentation, temperature, and completeness.

Main Duties:

• Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms, suites, and villas in a timely, professional, and courteous manner, ensuring exceptional service standards at all times.
• Review guest orders carefully prior to delivery to ensure accuracy, presentation quality, temperature, and completeness of all items.
• Set up and present in-room dining experiences according to established standards, including table arrangements, trolley presentations, and special guest requests.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, promotions, and beverage selections to confidently assist guests.
• Handle guest orders, special requests, dietary requirements, allergies, and preferences accurately, ensuring clear communication with the culinary team.
• Maintain regular contact with guests throughout the service experience and respond promptly to additional requests or service recovery opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, stewarding, and front office teams to ensure smooth operations and seamless service delivery.
• Prepare, maintain, and replenish service stations, equipment, amenities, and operating supplies required for efficient in-room dining operations.
• Collect trays, trolleys, and service equipment from guest rooms promptly while maintaining cleanliness and guest privacy standards.
• Process guest checks accurately, post charges correctly, and handle cashless or cash transactions in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of all in-room dining preparation and storage areas.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in In-Room Dining, Restaurant Service, or Food & Beverage operations within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, dining etiquette, and guest service principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with guests from diverse backgrounds.
