Job summary

Palazzo Versace Dubai is seeking a professional Waiter/Waitress to join our luxury dining team. You will welcome guests, present menus, take and relay orders, and ensure guest preferences reach the kitchen and service staff promptly.

The ideal candidate has experience in F&B, strong knowledge of service standards and allergens, excellent English communication, a guest‑focused attitude, and the flexibility to work shifts in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar F&B service role.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Ability to manage multiple guest requests.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.

• Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, following established service standards and sequence of service.

• Monitor guest needs throughout the dining experience and proactively provide attentive and personalized service.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, hostess, and other F&B team members to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately and handle any billing enquiries professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of tables and service areas in accordance with luxury hotel standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar F&B service role, preferably within a 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and restaurant operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
• Good knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and basic food safety and allergen awareness.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and genuine passion for hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple guest requirements efficiently.
