Job Description

The Waiter will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining smooth dining operations. This role requires strong communication skills a pleasant personality and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be attentive well-groomed and committed to maintaining hospitality standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables.
  • Present menus, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve items promptly.
  • Ensure food is served according to restaurant standards for presentation and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area including tables, chairs and service stations.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Provide recommendations to guests when required and answer queries about menu items.
  • Process bills, handle payments and ensure accurate cash transactions.
  • Follow hygiene safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Manage multiple tables and maintain excellent customer service during peak hours.
  • Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally and elevate when necessary.
Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Service Staff in a restaurant or hotel (freshers may be considered based on attitude and grooming).
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Basic understanding of food and beverage service standards.
