Job summary

The Meydan Hotel, part of Kerzner International, seeks a Laundry Guest Responsible to deliver exceptional guest laundry services with care and confidentiality. You will collect, process, track, and deliver garments, coordinating with Laundry, Housekeeping, and Front Office to ensure a flawless guest experience.

Maintain high standards of care, accuracy in records, and timely delivery, while attending to VIP requests and reporting discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications

• Excellent Guest service and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of guest laundry procedures and textile handling.
• Ability to prioritize multiple guest requests while meeting deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect guest laundry from guestrooms promptly upon request while maintaining a professional appearance and courteous attitude.
• Ensure laundry bags, invoices, and collection records are completed accurately
• Verify the laundry list with the guest garments and report any discrepancies before processing.
• Inspect garments for damages, missing buttons, stains, valuables, or special care requirements and notify the Team Leader immediately.
• Prioritize express and VIP laundry requests according to hotel procedures.
• Ensure all garments are correctly tagged and recorded before sending them for processing.
• Deliver guest laundry within the established turnaround time while ensuring garments are presented in excellent condition.
• Report lost-and-found items immediately in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Obtain guest acknowledgement upon delivery whenever required.
