Job summary

The Meydan Hotel in Dubai is seeking a Laundry Guest Valet to deliver prompt, courteous garment care for our guests, with a focus on confidentiality and high standards. You will collect, process, track, and deliver laundry with care, coordinating with Laundry, Housekeeping, and Front Office to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

You will handle express and VIP requests, maintain accurate records, and uphold The Meydan Hotel and Kerzner quality expectations in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of guest laundry procedures and textile handling.
• Ability to prioritize multiple guest requests while meeting deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect guest laundry from guestrooms promptly upon request while maintaining a professional appearance and courteous attitude.
• Ensure laundry bags, invoices, and collection records are completed accurately.
• Verify the laundry list with the guest garments and report any discrepancies before processing.
• Inspect garments for damages, missing buttons, stains, valuables, or special care requirements and notify the Team Leader immediately.
• Prioritize express and VIP laundry requests according to hotel procedures.
• Ensure all garments are correctly tagged and recorded before sending them for processing.
• Deliver guest laundry within the established turnaround time while ensuring garments are presented in excellent condition.
• Report lost-and-found items immediately in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Obtain guest acknowledgement upon delivery whenever required.
