Job summary

Client of AQJOBS is seeking an organized Shipping Admin to support commercial shipping and maritime operations in the UAE. The role covers documentation, chartering administration, vessel operations, and compliance across internal departments and external authorities.

The ideal candidate will manage shipping documentation, assist audits, and contribute to business development in the Middle East. A 2–5 year background in shipping administration is preferred and proficiency in MS Office is

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 2-5 years shipping admin experience.
Experience with shipping documentation and commercial contracts preferred.
Knowledge of Charter Party Agreements and maritime documentation is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Act as the authorized representative of the Group Company in the UAE for commercial shipping operations, vessel fixtures and maritime transactions.
Prepare, review, execute and coordinate Charter Party Agreements, shipping contracts, deeds and other documents.
Coordinate with ship owners, charterers, brokers, agents and legal teams for documentation and operational requirements.
Affix the Company’s official seal on authorized documents.
Maintain records of charter agreements, vessel documents, contracts and corporate records.
Assist with shipping administration, vessel documentation and port-related paperwork.
Support audits by preparing required documentation and responding to queries.
Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Commercial, Legal, and Administration.
