Job summary

Nautical Shipbrokers in Dubai seeks a Junior Chartering / Operations Executive to support vessel chartering activities. Based on-site, you will identify suitable cargoes and vessels, negotiate charter party terms, and coordinate fixtures and post-fixtures between ship owners and charterers.

You will monitor freight markets, gather market intelligence, maintain records, prepare internal reports, and help build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in shipping related field or equivalent.
• Experience in shipbroking or chartering is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and ability to work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Identify suitable cargoes and vessels and coordinate fixtures and post-fixtures between ship owners and charterers.
• Negotiate charter party terms and monitor freight markets.
• Gather and analyze market intelligence and maintain up-to-date records of fixtures and enquiries.
• Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and build relationships with clients and partners.
• Handle correspondence and contractual documentation and follow up on voyage performance with operations teams.
